30 Beats is finally getting ready to be released (in France), which means the film is also receiving more coverage. Luckily for fans, that means the studio is also releasing film stills! There are three new stills featuring Lee Pace – and co-star, Vahina Giocante – from the upcoming titillating film. The impressively high-quality images have all been added to the gallery. (A word of caution: one may be considered not safe for work, depending on where you happen to work!)
The first trailer for Alexis Lloyd’s upcoming film, 30 Beats, has finally been released. There’s quite a lot of footage of Lee Pace in it (and I do mean a lot), playing against Paz de la Huerta, Vahina Giocante, and Condola Rashad. Be aware that the trailer is not safe for work due to nudity. The film, “which follows a chain reaction of encounters between characters connected by the laws of sexual attraction,” will have its French premiere in March. Hopefully we can expect a U.S. release date to be announced soon as well.
A new production video for The Hobbit has recently been released, this one focusing on the various locations of the film. It looks like a lot of work traveling all over New Zealand – from studios to specific landscapes – just to capture Middle Earth perfectly! Like all the other production videos, it’s really engaging and worth checking out if you’re at all interested in behind the scenes footage (regardless of whether the actors are featured). Once again, Lee Pace doesn’t make an appearance in this one, but I’d recommend a watch if you have the time.
A new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has finally been released! It gives a brief look into the Tolkien world as brought to life once again by Peter Jackson. Unfortunately, Lee Pace is not featured in the trailer this time, but it’s definitely worth checking out regardless — it looks breathtaking! An Unexpected Journey will reach movie theaters on December 14, 2012.
Thanks to Zach-Quinto.net for the photos.
On December 4th, Lee Pace attended the after-party (and, presumably, the screening) of W.E.. Andrea Riseborough, who acted against Lee at a reading of Eve Ensler’s OPC, is a featured actress in the Madonna-directed film, along with Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac, Richard Coyle, and James D’Arcy.
The news on 30 Beats has been incredibly sparse since the film was shot in the summer of 2009, but Highbrow has recently posted some relieving news. (It seems like we’ll finally be able to see it soon!) Here is what they had to say on a November 30th posting:
Earlier this month, we at Highbrow were pleased to see the final cut of Alexis Lloyd’s 30 Beats at a cast and crew screening. The film is scheduled to premier in Paris on March 21, 2012.
Not much to report on here, but I figured I’d update about Troy Garity mentioning Lee in a new interview since news has otherwise been fairly quiet. Remember, Troy acted against Lee in Showtime’s Soldier’s Girl, which was also Lee’s first movie. Sounds like they still keep in touch, which is always nice to hear!
I’ve been a fan since Soldier’s Girl.
Oh, thank you. Yeah, I actually saw Lee Pace last night. I think he gets taller every time I see him.
There are not a lot of tall guys out there in Hollywood.
No, he’s really tall. He’s like 6’6″ or something. I look at him and I go, “I can’t believe I thought you were a woman.”
A new, minute-long video has been released celebrating Tiffany & Co.’s winter 2011 line of jewelry! Once again, Lee Pace is featured in the advertisement as the gift-giving partner for this holiday season. The video is washed in snow and elegance — truly representative of the sumptuous jewelry line. If the above video doesn’t work for you, you can also view it on Vimeo. Screen caps have also been added to the gallery:
On Monday, November 14th, Lee Pace made it out to the west coast to attend the much anticipated premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 — and he looked great! From what I’m reading, he skipped the press line, so there likely won’t be any new interview footage this time around. No worries, though: Lee’s character, Garrett, will be seen in the final installment of the Twilight film franchise. That means he’ll probably be at Part 2’s premiere next year, where fans will get another chance to see him hit the black carpet and talk about his experience on such a major motion picture set.
Courtesy of Facebook, there’s a new and gorgeous picture of Lee Pace as part of the Tiffany & Co. winter 2011 ad campaign. Photographed by the incredibly talented Peter Lindbergh, the advertisement for the famed jewelry company also features top model and French actress, Laetitia Casta. It is meant to evoke the “glamorous celebration of the holidays and true love.”
