2013 Comic-Con: Marvel Studios

Jul 21

Yesterday (July 20th), Lee Pace made a rare public appearance at San Diego Comic-Con! He was there as a surprise treat to those lucky fans who were sitting in Hall H for Marvel Studios, who had promised talks for Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. As part of his Guardians of the Galaxy cast – most of whom flew in from London just for the SDCC panel – they talked about the film (it’s “early days,” as production only started ten days ago) and even debuted some footage. Check out some pics of Lee and the cast in the gallery.

Alongside Karen Gillan of “Doctor Who” fame (who recently buzzed her hair off for her role as Nebula in Guardians), Lee was also interviewed on the Comic-Con red carpet. They talked of their roles and what to expect with the film, although they can’t give too much information away just yet. You can watch several videos by clicking below:

First Poster for ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ Revealed

Jun 9

Today, the first poster for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was revealed! It’s actually a really beautiful graphic, so be sure to check out the hi-res version in the gallery. Along with the poster, the official Facebook for the film also broke the news that the teaser trailer for The Desolation of Smaug will be unveiled June 11th (at 10am PT/1pm ET). Hopefully we’ll get a great new look at Lee Pace’s Thranduil.

‘Lincoln’ Screen Caps

Apr 12

I’ve finally obtained and capped Lincoln, so LPO now hosts over 280 Blu-ray screen caps of Lee Pace as Fernando Wood. There are a lot of shots of the entire courthouse, so he might be hard to find sometimes — just look for his unmistakeable hair! The images are very, very high quality, so I hope you enjoy.

‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ Screen Caps

Caps courtesy of Screencapped.net.

Once again, thanks to Screencapped.net, LPO has Blu-ray captures of Lee Pace — this time, from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. If you recall (for those who have seen it), Lee appeared as the Elvenking Thranduil for a very brief amount of time within the first ten minutes of the movie. We got to see his costume – complete with a crown of berries – as well as him riding an elk. There are only a few caps from his cameo, but they are gorgeous. Hope you enjoy.

‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part II)’ Screen Caps

Feb 21

Caps courtesy of Screencapped.net.

LPO now has just under 250 screen caps from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part II), thanks entirely to Screencapped.net. (Check them out if you’re looking for caps, especially for TV shows as they provide fast, HQ updates. They’re amazing!) The Blu-ray images are large and crisp, featuring Lee Pace as the nomadic vampire Garrett in the Twilight franchise. Enjoy!

’30 Beats’ Screen Caps

Feb 20

After finally obtaining Alexis Lloyd’s 30 Beats, I was able to make nearly 400 screen caps from the film. Like every actor from the experimental flick, Lee Pace has two different scenes — one with Paz de la Huerta and the second with French actress, Vahina Giocante. There’s (brief) nudity in a couple of the stills and otherwise some adult situations, so they should be considered NSFW.

Six New ‘Lincoln’ Film Stills

Jan 28

Six new film stills from Lincoln have been added to the gallery. These are great, with most of them primarily featuring Lee Pace (including a couple of solo shots of him as Fernando Wood). Although this doesn’t have to do with the images, the SAG Awards were held last night; unfortunately, however, Lincoln lost to Argo. Hopefully we’ll see the film pick up some more awards soon, as the BAFTAs and Oscars are still coming up.

New ‘Golden Age’ Production Photographs

Dec 9

There are four new production photographs from Golden Age in the gallery, many of which came from the play’s official site. If you head over there, you can view loads of new shots. All four of the ones added to LPO’s gallery show Lee Pace alongside co-star, Bebe Neuwirth. There’s also now a HQ version of this image.

Lee Attends NY Premiere of ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’

Dec 6

Earlier this evening, December 6th, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey held its first stateside premiere — in New York. At the Ziegfeld Theatre, numerous cast and crew from the impressively-sized ensemble showed up, including Lee Pace (who must have taken a night off from his off-Broadway play, Golden Age). Others in attendance included Elijah Wood (Frodo), Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Liv Tyler (Arwen), Martin Freeman (Bilbo), Andy Serkis (Gollum), Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield), Aidan Turner (Kili), Archie Panjabi, Terry O’Quinn, Patrick Stewart, and director Peter Jackson.
